This paper describes results of Phase 2 of the Storage Program of the Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Capture Project (CCP), a coalition of eight oil and gas companies and two associate members that are working together to reduce carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) costs. During Phase 2, between 2005 and 2009, the CCP built on the first phase of the program, working to narrow further the technologies that are likeliest to reduce CCS costs and make it more appealing.
