This report summarizes key activities undertaken in the area of risk management and lessons learned in this area from the six member projects of the European Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Demonstration Project Network. In accordance with the network’s knowledge sharing protocol, the main purpose of this document is to share experiences with the network’s external stakeholders in order to help advance adoption of CCS in Europe and beyond. Intended readers include CCS project managers, CCS communication specialists, CCS policymakers and the general public with an interest in CCS.
