This is the final report of the BioEthanol for Sustainable Transport (BEST) project, a four-year project to demonstrate the use of bioethanol in cars and buses. The program studied bioethanol from economic, technical, social, environmental and sustainability perspectives. One finding is that bioethanol is well suited as an important part of the future fuel mix.
