The Management Action Plan is the culmination of work that began in 2011 when the Non State Actors Panel took the step of moving beyond critique and comments to develop an Alternative Growth and Poverty Reduction Strategy to address what it considered the deficits and gaps of the strategy that was proposed by the Government of Grenada.

Many of the recommendations also speak to local adaptive capacity for communities in Grenada.
