The Cayman Islands' Climate Change Policy outlines consensus-based interventions to be implemented over the next 5 years that are required to address priority adverse impacts of climate change to be faced by these islands. Additionally, the climate change policy contains measures required to curb greenhouse gas emissions. This climate change policy recognises that the combined actions of responding to the inevitable impacts of a changing climate and reducing further the contributions to climate change are cost-effective and urgently needed in order to ensure low-carbon climate resilient development in the Cayman Islands.
