A multimedia fluidized bed pyrolysis process have been developed that takes any biomass feedstock (grass softwood hardwood) and converts it directly into biogasoil in one step. The biogasoil can be processed directly to hydrocarbons or blended with petroleum gas oil to be processed into gasoline diesel and light hydrocarbon fuels. Our invention is the first of its kind that does not have to go through a biooil upgrading process to be converted into hydrocarbons.
