Background: The Conserve to Enhance (C2E) program was developed by the University of Arizona water Resources Research Center (WRRC). C2E is a unique program that motivates consumers to use water more efficiently by linking water conservation efforts with environmental enhancements in their community and region. Since drought is becoming a major issue in the Southwest there is a need to educate and motivate the public about water conservation. C2E provides a new unique motivation for water conservation and raises awareness about water resources-related to environmental benefit. Technology Description: With drought being a major issue in the Southwest the C2E Dashboard could be implemented in many different states/cities within this region. Although the main application for the dashboard would be in domestic home use available through water utility companies it could also be expanded to include community businesses and corporations as well.
