
National Designated Entities (NDEs) from throughout Africa gathered at the Africa Climate Week to participate in the Climate Technology Centre & Network NDE Regional Forum for Africa. The main objectives of the Forum were to engage and empower stakeholders to drive climate action across countries, communities, and economies. Meeting participants discussed opportunities to advance climate action, address social inequalities and invest in development that is good for humanity and nature.
Africa Climate Week took place from from 29 August to 2 September in Libreville, Gabon, and is seen as a crucial step on the road to COP27. The event engaged stakeholders in exploring resilience against climate risks, the transition to a low-emission economy, and partnerships to solve pressing challenges.
