On 19 March 2014, Jukka Uosukainen, CTCN Director met with Christian Wichard, the Deputy Director General of WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) in Copenhagen. On this occasion, Jukka Uosukainen signed the paperwork to officially recognize WIPO as a member of the network of the CTCN. The Climate Technology Network supports the CTCN in the delivery of services. . In response to country requests, Network members can be selected to provide technical assistance that matches their expertise. Network members are also expected to participate in CTCN events as well as exchanging information and providing experts for webinars, e-learning courses and other types of trainings through the CTCN Knowledge Management System (KMS).
