Korea Electric Power Corporation
KEPCO was founded by the Korea Electric Power Corporation Act with the purpose of developing energy, stability of power demand and supply and contribution to the development of the national economy. KEPCO is categorized as a market-based public organization in accordance with the Act on the Operation of Public Organizations carrying out not only the development of power resources, generation, transmission, transformation and distribution but also related business, research and technology development, investment and/or contributions to overseas business, and utilization of KEPCO’s real estate assets.
