Institute of Water Resources Planning
The major functions of IWRP are supporting and advising the Vietnamese Government, Ministries and local authorities in water resources development strategy and planning. IWRP also actively participates in projects and research related to water, climate and ecosystems, disaster risk reduction and water governance in cooperation with national and international organizations. ICT, mathematical modelling and remote sensing are the most prevailing technologies applied by IWRP to facilitate water management, especially in the context of climate change.
