The Hongik University Industry-Academia Collaboration Foundation (HU) has two primary missions. Firstly, it aims to educate and train the next generation of scientists and engineers who can contribute to technology development in various sectors. Secondly, it seeks to contribute to the research efforts in all fields of science & engineering, with emphasis on sustainable development technologies. Within the framework of its second mission, the HU conducts research in renewable energy, power generation, energy system analysis and optimization sectors.
