Moses is an accomplished Forestry and Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Program Manager, boasting over 6 years of experience as a results-driven sustainability leader. In this role, he developed and supervised the implementation of environmental, social, and corporate governance policies. Moses successfully led the AFOLU project in Southern and Northern Zambia, focusing on conserving 1,000,000 hectares and afforesting 20,000 hectares, adhering to Social Carbon standards.

As a co-founder of Plant a Million Zambia, an initiative combatting deforestation and climate change, Moses oversaw the planting of over 1.5 million trees in Zambia by December 2023. He aspires to delve into greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting with Verra or South Pole.

Moses's diverse experiences include conducting research on the impact of adding organic matter to soil for enhanced plant performance during his internship in Israel. Recognized as the Best Student for the 2015 academic year at Copperbelt University, he received a distinction of honor certificate and was nominated for a master's program in Beijing, China. Moses actively participated in a Rufford Foundation-funded study on large-scale land acquisitions in Zambia, resulting in five published scientific papers. As a representative of the international students' batch 2019-2021 sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, Moses also served as the coordinator for the research team at BFU. Throughout, he has been an active member of an organization dedicated to educating individuals and communities on morals since 2007.

With over 15 years of experience as a researcher and educator in five countries, I am a UNDP vetted gender and social inclusion expert who applies participatory and equity-centered approaches to research and evaluation. I have expertise in gender as a cross-cutting theme in various areas of international development migration, climate change-related displacement and livelihood, youth development and education. Martin Mulenga, a dedicated international environmental Consultant , Philosopher-historian and Political Scientist brings a wealth of expertise to the realm of environmental conservancy. Armed with a degree in Philosophy, a diploma in Religious Studies, and a Certificate in Transformative Leadership and Mental Health a, he has also undergone training on Environmental Sustainability. As Gender and Inclusion Lead for the UAE COP28 Presidency and with a postgraduate degree in Gender Studies and International Law, I have a proven track record in gender in relation to climate, development and foreign policy.

In my current role, I oversee gender and inclusion outcomes. Through working closely with Parties and women's rights organisations, I led the delivery of the COP28 Gender-Responsive Just Transitions and Climate Action Partnership, which was launched as part of a high level event.  I managed the timely delivery of an exciting two week programme that mainstreamed gender across data, finance and agriculture, as well as regular consultations throughout the year, including during the UN Commission on the Status of Women.   

In my previous role as COP26 Head of Stakeholder Engagement, I oversaw negotiations at the UNFCCC, including the Lima Work Programme on Gender and Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE). I managed a team of negotiators and engagement officials, ensuring the timely delivery of complex engagement pieces, including overseas trips.

Alongside my COP work, I was Head of Events for the Civil Service Environment Network, managing two teams to deliver key monthly events on a range of environmental issues. Other various voluntary roles include a founding member for the Centre for Feminist Foreign Policy and as a team leader in the International Citizens Service, where I oversaw a capacity building project in rural Burkina Faso.

Italian-Lebanese Communications Manager, with a background in Natural and Environmental Sciences, I am a consultant/expert on issues related to ecofeminism, I have been dealing with climate change and sustainability since 2019. I currently collaborate with the Albanian Observatory (founded by UNICEF), thanks to which I had the opportunity to develop a research on the impacts of climate change on Albanian women, with a focus on water, agriculture, health and environmental disasters. I am co-founder and Secretary of the NGO Change for Planet, active in Italy since 2020, with which over the years I have implemented numerous projects and communication campaigns, up to the creation of a free climate camp for more than 100 young people selected from across the peninsula. I write for some Italian blogs and newspapers and am an observer/press during the COPs.
