  • CTCN/UNIDO Seeks Proposals for Development of Coastal Management Tools in Uruguay

    The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) is seeking a member of the CTCN Network to provide technical services related to development of technological tools to evaluate the impacts of, and vulnerability and adaptation to climate change in Uruguay’s coastal zone.

    Recent regional studies conducted for Latin America and the Caribbean demonstrate that the incidence of extreme sea levels increased with a greater magnitude and frequency being noted in the coastal areas of the Caribbean and Río de la Plata.
