SPREP - Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme - is the lead intergovernmental agency coordinating and delivering environment and climate change strategies and initiatives in the Pacific. For over 25 years SPREP has been working with and supporting its 21 Pacific Island Country (PIC) and Territory (PICT) Members to address their environmental and climate change priorities to support sustainable development and Pacific island livelihoods.

Environmental Research Institute (ERI) is a flagship Institute for Environmental, Marine and Energy research in Ireland. The ERI has over 300 researchers working in interdisciplinary and currently has 45 live research projects focused on climate mitigation, adaptation and understanding. Focus areas include energy modelling, marine renewables, biofuels, energy efficiency, climate adaptation platforms, modelling greenhouse gas fluxes, atmospheric chemistry and carbon liabilities.

The Korea Environment Institute (KEI) is a government affiliated research institute that is under the Cabinet Coordination Office. The KEI was established in 1992 to contribute to preventing and solving environmental problems including climate change through environmental policy research and a professional and fair review of environmental impact assessments. The Korea Adaptation Center for Climate Change designated by the Ministry of Environment was established under the KEI in 2009.
