The containers (troughs) can be of different types.
The recommended substrate is coconut fiber or a mixture of peat and perlite.
The product was developed for treatment and/or preparation of soil for planting (Pre-Planting & Post Planting). STERISOIL will kill unwanted insects and worms and will sterilize the soil in the beds before planting commence. STERISOIL replace products like bromide that are dangerous to work with as well as harmful to the environment. STERISOIL is environmentally friendly and safe for humans, animals and plants.

Potential improvement: The product kills unwanted insects/worms, sterilizing the soil.
The Uniekum in-line Vlakvark Harvester has been designed for typical South-African soil types and conditions. To make provision for a variety of individual requirements, different models and option packages are available. The harvester can be ordered in three standard widths. Standard on all models is the double web configuration with a shaker for each web. The webs can be ordered in various pitch lengths.
