    This report has been jointly prepared by GIZ and MoEF under the CCA RAI project, overviews the challenges to climate variability and climate change. It addresses the impacts of climate change in six different sectors like agriculture, forestry biodiversity, water resources, coastal zone management, and disaster risk management and focuses on rural India development. Concepts and approaches for adaptation and its integration into development planning are described. Thus, it is recommended for adaptation practitioners and academicians.

This video tells the story of the Jhelum Basin experiences in adapting to climate change in the Himalayas. Made by Wetlands International South Asia programme, it explains the issues around and the role of wetlands in these mountain areas in regulating water flows and mitigating the impacts of climate change.

    This report represents the World Bank"s operational response to climate variability and change in Africa. Grounded in a climate risk review of the Africa Region"s Sustainable Development portfolio, it adds the climate change dimension to the region"s development strategy and business plan, the Africa Action Plan (2009-2012). According to the authors, the plan and the climate change strategy are a "sound and realistic framework" for climate-resilient development in Sub-Saharan Africa.
