The information on the initiatives includes information about thematic focus, type of initiative, description, goal and activities, participant, and funders.

It provides the first comprehensive selection of data that the IEA has been collecting each year after its member states recognized in 2009 the need to better monitor energy efficiency policies. The report includes country-specific analysis of end uses across the largest sectors: residential, services, industry and transport.

  • Climate Investment Opportunities in Emerging Markets

    According to the authors of this report, the Paris agreement on climate change opened nearly $23 trillion in opportunities for climate-smart investments in emerging markets between now and 2030. The study presented in the report is based on the national climate change commitments and the underlying policies of 21 emerging-market economies, representing 48 per cent of global emissions. It identifies sectors in each region where the potential for investment is greatest.
