This study aims to analyse the main elements of the regulatory system of the Euro-Mediterranean partnership in the energy sector, set up by the European Union and the South-East Mediterranean Countries in more than ten years starting from the Barcelona process.

A report of private sector RE and EE investments in BASIC-countries: China, Brazil, India and South Africa. Reviw and analysis of the status and drives of RE and EE investments based on a cross-sectoral questionnaire and interview study of the leading private sector actors. The report confirms that companies have made very sizeable investments in clean energy. It also shows that national and international policy measures act as an important driver for corporate investment. Further it also identifies CDM as a major contributor in this development.
