Biomass with carbon capture and storage – A review at the systems level

In their recent reports, bodies such as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the International Energy Agency (IEA) acknowledge the role that bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (Bio-CCS or BECCS) can play in reducing atmospheric CO2 emissions by delivering “negative emissions”. This webinar will provide an overview of the global status of Bio-CCS with a focus on the surrounding sustainability issues rather than technical challenges.
