Holistic Approach to AI Technology for System Transformation

The Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN), in collaboration with the Technology Executive Committee (TEC), is excited to announce the 2024 Capacity-Building Program on #AIforClimateAction, specifically designed for least developed countries (LDCs) and small island developing states (SIDS).

This year's programme highlights:

Facilitate policy discussions:

• Engage UNFCCC national focal points, NDEs, and stakeholders in discussions on AI-powered climate solutions.
• Raise awareness and exchange knowledge on developing and deploying these solutions.

Support capacity building:

• Enhance capacity in developing countries to leverage digital technologies.
• Devise locally-led AI solutions for climate action.

Develop regional networks:

• Facilitate the formation of CTCN regional networks to support AI for climate actions.
• Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among regional entities.
