COP24. South-South Pledge for Climate Technologies

Addressing climate change requires global cooperation with new leaders emerging in the provision of support for climate technology development, transfer, dissemination and deployment.

At the South-South Pledge Event, the Governments of Brazil and the Republic of Korea will announce their commitments to other non-Annex 1 countries.  Interested recipient countries are invited to attend in order to explore matchmaking opportunities. The Pledge Event will conclude with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Korea and UN Environment for South-South Cooperation through the Climate Technology Centre and Network.
