In the race to address climate change, international collaboration in climate technology is essential. The Collaborative RD&D Bridge-Building Workshop (CRD2B2), organized by the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) Partnership and Liaison Office (PALO), is set to be a landmark event, bringing together National Designated Entities (NDEs) from developing countries and prominent Korean Government Research Institutes (GRIs). This workshop aims to accelerate joint research, development, and demonstration (RD&D) in climate technologies, building a bridge for collaborative innovations that can drive impactful change in global climate action.
Held in Incheon, Korea, CRD2B2 aims to provide a platform for the NDEs and Korean climate experts to explore technology solutions addressing pressing climate challenges. Participants will engage in sessions showcasing the latest innovations from Korean GRIs, with a particular focus on practical applications for national and international climate goals. Aiming to foster connections among Global South-South, North-South, and Triangular networks, the workshop aligns with CTCN’s commitment to supporting climate resilience through technology transfer and strengthening partnerships to enhance Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) toward the 2035 targets.
