ICEC is founded with the mandate to study policy responses to climate change, cultivate eco-friendly lifestyles for citizens to create a low-carbon, green city. ICEC is also a Secretariat of UEA with 156 member cities in 52 Countries.

UEA Secretariat promotes cooperative relationships between cities through the sharing of best practices and technological know-how.

The main activities of ICEC/UEA are as below;

1) Conduct R&D and education/training on climate change and other environmental issues

Respirer Living Sciences is India's foremost IoT and Big Data enabled Climate Sciences and Climate Tech startup that builds strategic air quality & emissions monitoring technologies and solutions used by government pollution regulators, Atmospheric scientists, Sustainability researchers, Industry (emissions monitoring), Communities and Citizens. Winner of the NASSCOM Emerge50 2021 award, Government of India's National Startup Awards 2020 (finalist in Industry 4.0/IoT category) and part of Microsoft Research's first Societal impact via Cloud & AI (SCAI) cohort.

Climalogik is a science-led principal consulting firm, partnering with clients to solve challenging climate change problems, and build resilience in the face of climate and global environmental change. We are developing and delivering Next-Generation Scalable Climate Services for Supporting and Enabling Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation for a Sustainable Future. We are experts in adaptation action planning, monitoring, and evaluation as well as resilience building and disaster risk reduction.

Climate Analytics is an international non-profit climate science and policy institute, which brings together interdisciplinary expertise in the scientific and policy aspects of climate change. To this end we conduct our own research and bring together andcommunicate the findings of the available literature to provide the context needed. Our teams work on Climate Policy, Climate Science and Impacts, Climate Adaptation and Mitigation, Implementation Strategies and Climate Finance and Climate Diplomacy.

The Center for Innovation in Transport (CENIT) is a research institute and think tank oriented at helping find sustainable and innovative solutions for urban transportation. We specialize in research, development and technology transfer projects using big data and econometric analysis. COPPADES is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) working in rural communities in Nepal, mainly in Gandaki Province in Nepal. Established in the year 1991, COPPADES has been currently working on agricultural and livelihood promotion of rural communities considering the dangerous climate challenges the world is facing. Its activities are mainly focused in agriculture while making aware people that climate change is affecting the lives of the people.

We have organized initiatives since 2012 working on the strategic lines of climate change, biodiversity, and water and on the transversal lines of education, empowerment, governance, and planning. We are moved by the rescue of local knowledge and intergenerational equity to build resident cities and territories with low GHG emissions.

Spherical is materializing the potential that information technology can bring into global sustainability efforts. We are building systems, big and small, that support international efforts to protect the environment; eradicate poverty; provide universal access to basic utilities, health care, food and education; and provide transparency and accountability in governance.
