The agriculture sector supports lives and livelihoods in communities around the world. FAO estimates that small-scale farmers produce over 70% of the world's food needs.  Helping farmers cope with climate change impacts, while also reducing the sectors greenhouse gas emissions, requires outreach to large and small-scale farm operations. Transferring technology in the farming sector both reduces vulnerability to climate change risks while increasing food security and enhancing the overall health and well-being of farming communities.
