Verification of Energynet Methodology

This report documents the demonstration and validation of the Energynet electric power system modelling methodology. Distributed energy resources are defined as generation, storage and load control technologies located close to where electricity is used to provide an alternative to, or an enhancement of, the traditional electric power system. The benefits can vary significantly depending on location, but can be objectively and rigorously determined using the electric power system modelling methodology tools as demonstrated in this research.
