This two-year publication series features instances of best practice in clean energy policy in Germany and the United States. The first issue — “Integrating Renewable Energy into the Future Power System” — focuses on challenges for the electrical system that result from expanding renewable electricity generation in Germany and the United States. This includes, for example, the mismatched availability of renewable sources and electricity consumption. The first issue highlights how different best practices in the two countries are successfully addressing these challenges.
