One objective of Turkey's renewable energy policy is to increase privately owned and operated distributed power generation from renewable sources, without the need for government guarantees, within the market-based framework of the new Turkish Electricity Market Law. The report includes an overview of the policies and financial incentives implemented, as well as lessons learned.
