Towards a Low Carbon, Climate Resilient Ontario: IISD input to MOECC’s Climate Change Discussion Paper

This paper outlines and describes the IISD's response to Ontario's Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change's previously released Climate Change Discussion Paper. IISD responds to proposed actions related to supporting climate-friendly technology, low-carbon growth, buildings and communities, leveraging traditional knowledge and eliminating fossil fuel subsidies. The authors also describe the importance of a cap-and-trade system for Ontario.
