Technology Action Plan: Smart Grids

This report assesses the opportunities available for smart grid deployment as well as the necessary policy measures needed to deploy smart grids and realize the greenhouse gas emissions benefits. The key areas studied are: policy and regulations; financing; technology and standards; cyber security and data privacy; and skills and knowledge. It concludes with a series of policy recommendations to accelerate deployment.
