This case study highlights activities and impacts of Sri Lanka's Energy Services Delivery (ESD) project and Renewable Energy for Rural Economic Development (RERED) project. Both projects promoted the provision by the private sector, non-governmental organizations, and cooperatives of grid-connected and off-grid energy services using solar, hydro, wind, and biomass. Projects included financing and grant, as well as technical assistance components.
