Special Report on Renewable Energy Sources and Climate Change Mitigation

Intended to provide policy-relevant information to governments, intergovernmental processes, and other interested parties, this report presents the scientific, technological, environmental, economic, and social aspects of renewable energy sources to the mitigation of climate change. It focuses on the contributions to climate change mitigation that are possible from bioenergy, solar energy, geothermal energy, hydropower, ocean energy, and wind energy.
