Solar Water Heating Techscope Market Readiness Assessment: Mauritius & Seychelles

This report describes the results of an analysis for Mauritius and Seychelles. Small island development states face significant energy challenges as costly fossil fuels imports can burden national budgets and inhibit economic development, but little is known of the status and lessons learned from solar water heating markets in most SIDS. The report describes the study for both Mauritius and Seychelles using the TechScope methodology, the goal of which is to strengthen and accelerate the growth of the solar water heating sector.
