Revitalisation of Local Economy by Development of Renewable Energy: Good Practices and Case Studies (REvLOCAL)

This project examined real life examples of how renewable energy projects have been developed to leverage local interests, increase direct economic benefits such as job creation but also establish new business. A set of common characteristics from successful projects are highlighted that seem to maximize the local economic co-benefits of renewable energy investment. Six in-depth case studies are presented as best practice for the investment of renewables and vitalization of local economies.
