This report evaluates the progress of the Group of Eight (G8) countries in implementing energy efficiency policies, including the 25 G8/International Energy Agency (IEA) recommendations. Information in this report is current up to 31 March 2009. Conclusions are based on country completion of a detailed questionnaire measuring energy efficiency policy implementation and subsequent IEA review and analysis. This report identifies a full range of energy efficiency activities in the G8 countries.
