Low emission development strategies (LEDS) can enable countries to transition to low-carbon economic development. This webinar, presented by several members of the LEDS Global Partnership, reviews existing approaches to capturing and communicating development benefits of climate action and proposes a new tool for communicating development benefits to policymakers as part of a LEDS process. Governments can use LEDS optimization tools to evaluate and prioritize policies across an economy and clearly explain the process used to make this determination. The webinar also introduces development impact evaluation activities by LEDS GP members.
