Powering Europe: Wind Energy and the Electricity Grid

This report analyzes the technical, economic, and regulatory issues that need to be addressed for Europe to move toward a more secure energy future through increased wind power production. The report concludes that the main barrier to high penetration of wind into the European power system is the lack of adequate infrastructure and interconnection.
