A crucial aspect to the implementation of adaptation measures to climate change in the Caribbean is securing the funding with which to execute projects and initiatives. This position paper is meant to reveal the role of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) in assisting the region in its efforts at climate change adaptation. It presents the current dilemma facing the region from climate change including the numerous signs of its reality on the national and regional levels. It explains the various national and regional responses to climate change and ends by outlining the CDB's position as a source of funding for adaptation projects, initiatives, research and partnerships.
