Policies to Achieve Greater Energy Efficiency

This report analyzes energy efficiency policies and best practices, and it offers a discussion-like overview of considerations to ensure that the proper policy paths are pursued. The authors break their energy efficiency policies into three distinct groups: foundational or enabling mechanisms, implementation mechanisms, and support mechanisms. In addition, the full policy-making process is discussed in the context of creating energy efficiency policy.
