This report outlines renewable energy financing challenges on both the national and state levels in India. The review discusses available capital, equity, and the investment situation as well as the policy atmosphere that surrounds energy investment. Using the United States and Europe as comparison, the authors provide case studies as examples of a way to move forward, and they also look at Brazil and China as having similar issues.
