This report studies six large-scale renewable electricity generation projects in the United States and Europe to evaluate how policy affects project economics, as well as the cost and availability of financing. The projects studied in the report include large onshore wind farms in the United States and Spain, utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) facilities in the United States and Italy, and two less mature technologies: a concentrated solar power tower in the United States and an offshore wind farm in Denmark.
