IEA Solar Heating & Cooling Programme: Review of Relevant International Standards Rating and Incentive Schemes

This report catalogues (1) the development of a database of international standards, rating and incentive schemes, (2) populating that database with data from six participating countries and (3) presenting an analysis of that data. Market support policy successes and failures were detailed, categorised and analysed to understand the lessons learned from prior experience. Analysis of 65 incentive measures led to five key findings. The database and the findings are intended to provide insight into the needs of alternative policy interventions.
