GreenStep City Best Practices

This website provides a series of best practices for communities participating in Minnesota's GreenStep Cities program. The recommendations come with a downloadable or online spreadsheet to track implementation as well as a categorization system for communities. The recommendation areas are buildings and lighting, land use, transportation, environmental management, and economic and community development. Cities that implement a minimum number of best practices organized into these five topical areas will be recognized as a GreenStep City.
