Global Technology Roadmap for CCS in Industry Sectoral Assessment: Cement

Carbon capture and storage (CCS) is one of the key potential options for reducing CO2 emissions within the industrial sector. Although some industrial sectors have started to assess the potential of CCS, there is a need for additional, sector-specific analysis of CCS costs, benefits and potential, particularly in developing countries. This report is the final version of the assessment and consists of the context, literature review and the state of play with regard to CCS in the cement sector.
