This presentation—made to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Expert Workshop on Estimating Support to Fossil Fuels—highlights Indonesia's fossil fuel subsidy program. It presents the country's subsidy formula; policy changes and challenges; fiscal outlays for subsidization; the plan to phase-out fossil fuel subsidies; and the country's kerosene-to-liquefied-petroleum-gas conversion programme.
