The Institute for Industrial Productivity designed and carried out a project to establish a more transparent and efficient market for energy efficiency projects in India. This report summarizes their findings after a policy review, interviews with industry experts, and the assembly of bank and country working teams. The report aims to identify barriers to industrial energy efficiency project financing and offer suggestions for new initiatives.
