European Union Transport Greenhouse Gas: Routes to 2050? Review of Projections and Scenarios for Transport in 2050

The aim of this report is to provide an overview of the main long-term scenario studies on the European Union transport sector (up to 2030/2050) that include greenhouse gas emission projections. In this paper, more than 20 scenario studies on energy use, carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and transport were reviewed and compared.
