This report provides a thorough review of energy trends in developing Asia in order to understand: (1) the drivers of energy demand; (2) the impacts of increased energy demand on energy security and greenhouse gas emissions; and (3) the prospects for the scale-up of clean energy in developing Asia economies. The report also prioritizes and ranks energy efficiency sub-sectors and renewable energy resources in terms of their potential to deliver reductions in greenhouse gas emissions in Asia.
