This report shares Denmark's experience in energy efficiency in new buildings and aims to give other countries the tools to prioritize it going forward. Regulation, financial drivers, and information and awareness are highlighted as they relate to energy efficiency in buildings, and they are seen by the authors as the keys to energy efficiency legislation. The report includes examples of energy efficiency in buildings in Malaysia.
