This presentation shows the results of the Institute for Building Efficiency's 2012 energy efficiency survey. The institute surveyed nearly 3,500 decision makers in a variety of sectors who are responsible for energy use in buildings—examining trends in priorities and practices. The institute reaches a number of conclusions based on the survey results. For example, it found that the commercial and industrial sectors lead in setting goals and making increased investments; incentives are the most favored global policy; and that there are plans for increased investment globally.
